GREEN BAY, Wis (WSAU) Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy said the team has only limited information about injuries to wide receivers James Jones and Randall Cobb. Both players are expected to undergo further evaluation on Wednesday.
McCarthy said at his Monday news conference that James Jones might be able to play next week. He also said that Randall Cobb will miss multiple weeks. More information on the injuries may come from the players or their agents in the next few days.
A source says Cobb suffered a broken fibula, and will be out 6-8 weeks.
Both wide receivers suffered knee injuries in Sunday's 19-17 win against the Baltimore Ravens. The Packers finished the game with only two healthy wide receivers.
The Packers play the Cleveland Browns at Lambeau Field next Sunday.
