GREEN BAY, Wis. (WSAU) - Jeremy Ross was waived by the Packers Monday.
Ross has had some crucial miscues as a receiver and kick returner for the Packers, including a first quarter turnover that led to a Cincinnati Bengals touchdown Sunday. He was also responsible for a mistake last January in the playoff game against San Francisco where his muffed punt return led to a 49’ers touchdown.
Ross has played in eight regular season games for the Packers over two seasons. Expect Randall Cobb to see more special teams assignments in Ross’ absence.
