MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WSAU-TSN) - Jean Segura's three-run homer in the second inning powered the Milwaukee Brewers to a 5-2 victory over the San Diego Padres in the rubber match of a three-game set.
Khris Davis also homered while Ryan Braun supplied two hits and an RBI for the Brewers, who have won five of their last six.
Kyle Lohse (4-1) won his fourth straight start, allowing only two runs -- one earned -- on five hits with five strikeouts across seven innings. Francisco Rodriguez struck out two in a scoreless ninth to earn his ninth save of the season.
Seth Smith and Nick Hundley each drove in a run for San Diego, which has dropped three of its last four. Starter Tyson Ross (2-3) was reached for five runs on nine hits over six innings in defeat.
