WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) -- There's a weekend of fun to be had at the Wisconsin Valley Fair.
Fair administrator Maria Budnik says there's still time to catch judging on exhibits. "Friday, we continue with our judging. We have our dairy poultry and swine show on Friday, and Saturday we have our market animal sale and show. We have our gladiola show going on and our horse judging continues." There's no more judging on Sunday but the fair does have their annual cat show at 11 am.
The midway has great deal on rides all weekend, and Budnik says it's a good time to get the kids out for some fun. "We have ride wristbands available for on Friday and Saturday for 20 dollars from Noon to 5 or 5 to 11. And then again on Sunday from 12 to 8 for 23 dollars."
Budnik says the grandstand entertainment is going out with a blast. "Friday night we have Theory of a Deadman, Saturday Joe Nichols, and then Sunday we have our draft horse invitational beginning at 10:30 and our demolition derby beginning at 5:30. Those are new times."
