WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) -- The names of the men caught in the Wausau prostitution sting late last month have been released, including the name of an elementary school teacher.
The men that responded to an online advertisement placed by police were 42-year-old Christopher Barr of Wausau, 45-year-old Thomas Collins of Edgar, 55-year-old Dale Cebula of Mosinee, 70-year-old John Waterman of Wisconsin Dells, 21-year-old Michael Yeng Her of Weston, 22-year-old Pa Nhia Hang of St. Paul, Minnesota, and 36-year-old Aaron Kottke of Wausau.
The citation for soliciting a prostitute will cost them $2,000, but in the case of Kottke, it has also damaged his career. Kottke resigned from his position as a 5th grade teacher at Franklin Elementary School in Wausau after getting caught. School officials say they have no information showing Kottke ever caused any harm to students, and they will take up his resignation letter at Monday’s school board meeting.
