WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. (WSAU) -- Two brothers got into a physical altercation Thursday night, and one of them died. Wisconsin Rapids Police Chief Kurt Heuer says 55-year-old Ronald S. Horan remains in custody after the death of 52-year-old Tracy L. Horan at Ronald’s Baker Street home.
Heuer says the autopsy conducted Friday confirms Tracy Horan died of a neck and head injury. No weapons were used. He says Ronald Horan attempted to bury and hide his brother’s body on his property before calling 911 to report the death at around 11:00 p.m.
The details of the investigation have been forwarded to the Wood County District Attorney, who will determine which formal charges to file against Ronald Horan. Horan remains in custody at the Wood County jail.
