The British music magazine Classic Rock is bringing its award show to the U.S.
Typically held in London, the Classic Rock Roll of Honour will be staged this year at the Avalon Ballroom in Hollywood. Sammy Hagar will host the 10th edition of the ceremony on November 4.
Hagar says in a statement posted on the Classic Rock website, "The Classic Rock Roll of Honour is one of music’s coolest and most prestigious events in the U.K. so I’m really excited to be hosting it for the first time in the U.S."
Hagar adds, "My goal is to keep it fun and filled with so many off-the-hook music moments that we put it on the map alongside the Grammys, VMAs and other awards ceremonies."
The nominees for the fan-voted categories were announced on Wednesday. You can support your favorites by logging on to ClassicRockMagazine.com/Awards .
