STEVENS POINT, Wis. (WSAU) -- Tax reform will be on the minds of government leaders and Portage County residents this morning.
Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch will lead the discussion, which centers around Governor Scott Walker’s recent tax cuts and the administration’s goal of making improvements to the tax codes. The Governor and Lieutenant Governor are making many stops around the state to get constituent feedback and ideas to simplify and reduce taxes.
Today’s meeting focuses on unique tax issues for seniors and retirees. The roundtable discussion starts at 10:30 a.m. at the Lincoln Senior Center in Stevens Point.
The Lieutenant Governor is also scheduled as a guest on WSAU's Feedback program between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.
