New Black Stone Cherry Album and Supporting Tour Set for This Spring

Black Stone Cherry will release a new album this May. The Kentucky rockers have named the disc Magic Mountain and selected its first single, a song called "Me and Mary Jane," to arrive later this month.

This will be the fourth release from Black Stone Cherry and the band says in a statement through its label that Magic Mountain is both a progression and a return to an earlier vibe. "Not since before our first album have we felt the freedom and confidence that we felt while writing and recording this album," the band says.  "After touring the world behind three previous albums that we are extremely proud of, we feel this album best captures the live energy, honesty and vibe that encompasses our true musicianship."

Just before Magic Mountain drops on May 6, Black Stone Cherry will set out on a U.S. tour with the following confirmed dates, both in support of Seether and headlining (dates opening for Seether marked with asterisk):
