House explosion likely suicide

WAUSAU, Wis (WSAU)   Marathon County sheriffs investigators now believe the home explosion on Pioneer Lane in Wausau was a suicide. They tell WAOW-TV that the remains inside the house are likely 43-year-old Jesse Jehn. The body was so badly decomposed that positive DNA and dental identification could take several months. One investigator said Jehn's past history also indicated a likely suicide, although no more information is being provided.

There was no suicide note found at the scene.

Investigators have said several explosive devices were linked together to detonate simultaneously. They were found in the home's basement and in a vehicle on the property.

The blast happened last Thursday and shook other houses nearby. The home was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived, and none of the outer walls were left standing.
