MERRILL, Wis. (WSAU) -- A couple of Merrill teenagers were hit by a car Thursday afternoon at about 3:30 p.m. The 14-year-olds were very lucky, as neither received life-threatening injuries. Both were taken to Ministry Good Samaritan Hospital to be examined, as a precaution.
Merrill officials have not said if the incident was weather related, as the area at Third and Pier Streets was snow covered and slippery at the time.
The names of the teenagers and the driver have not been released.
