STEVENS POINT, Wis. (WSAU) -- An Amherst woman convicted of her second motor vehicle incident that caused death will be sentenced this fall.

24-year-old Hanna Schacht will find out just how long she will be locked up during a sentencing hearing October 7th. Schacht entered into a plea agreement Tuesday, and was convicted of homicide by use of a motor vehicle with a prohibited blood alcohol content and injury by use of a vehicle with a prohibited blood alcohol content. Two other felony charges were dismissed in the deal.

This crash happened Sunday, September 15th 2013 on Buelow Road near Highway D near Amherst. 51-year-old Daniel Wetzel died, and his son 31-year-old Richard Wetzel was injured. A year earlier, Schacht was the driver in an Illinois accident where someone died, and she failed to report the accident.
