Billy Corgan Writing 2,000-Page Autobiography?

Billy Corgan  seems never at a loss for things to say, so it should come as no surprise that he's planning a memoir.  But if calculations are correct, it'll be a whopper even by Corgan's standards.

In the latest album update from the  Smashing Pumpkins  frontman -- sandwiched between musings on a guitar part and a photo of a homemade Smashing Pumpkins poster from 1988 -- comes a note about a Billy Corgan memoir.  The singer  mentions  that he had "crossed the 200,000 word threshold" on the project and though he had been "convinced that the midway point of said opus had been reached," he was mistaken.

Apparently the 200,000 words only covers five of the 12 intended chapters and Corgan now expects "that the book will eventually clock in at a half million words," an amount he calls "too many...but sadly never enough."

Conventional books contain between 250-400 words per page, so Corgan's "opus" would fill somewhere between 1,250 and 2,000 pages.

Corgan says he intends to name the book  God Is Everywhere from Here to There  and he expects to make an official announcement about it in a month.
