WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. (WSAU) -- June Dairy Month gets a splash of color this weekend at the Cranberry Blossom Fest in Wisconsin Rapids.
This is the 7th year of the event, and this year's festivities are spread out all weekend. Heart of Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce director Melissa Reichert says it all gets started this morning with some wonderful food. "Bright and early Friday morning is our June Dairy and Berry Breakfast from 6 am to 10:30, and that will be held at Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids."
The events continue on Saturday with another food festival and the annual Carnival. Reichert says Sunday's big event is always the Cranberry Blossom Parade. "...and that kicks off at Noon at Grand Avenue on Wisconsin Rapids, and then we invite people to come out to the Grand Rapids Firefighters celebration that afternoon."
Reichert says there's something for everyone this weekend. "If you enjoy shopping, rides, entertainment or just people watching, Wisconsin Rapids is the place to be this weekend for Blossom Fest." She's expecting around 10,000 people to show up for the event over the whole weekend.
