TOWN OF TAINTER, WI (WTAQ) - The head of international education at UW-Stout has died in a traffic crash.
Dunn County authorities said 55-year-old Hong Rost drove across a centerline and collided with an oncoming semi-truck. The trucker was not hurt.
The accident occurred Thursday on County Trunk "D" in the Dunn County town of Tainter.
Stout chancellor Charles Sorenson called Rost a "tremendous advocate for UW-Stout on the international stage."
She became Stout's top international education official in 2010, after being the assistant director for a similar department at UW-La Crosse for 15 years.
