MILWAUKEE (WSAU) -- Coast Guard officials say four people were pulled from Lake Michigan in two separate weekend incidents.
The first rescue happened Friday night off the shore in Kenosha where one person had to be pulled from a capsized sailboat. Another person on the boat managed to swim the 100 yards back to shore.
A half hour later another boat near Two Rivers ran into trouble as it started taking on water. The Coast Guard arrived and started pumping out the water with a spare pump, and escorted the crew back to a nearby marina.
One person in the first incident had to be treated for hypothermia.
