TOWN OF SARATOGA, WOOD COUNTY, Wis. -- Wood County deputies are seeking help from the public to locate information and suspects after a Sunday assault in the Town of Saratoga.
Deputies say approximately six or seven people arrived at the scene in a silver minivan that may have been a Chrysler Town and Country. The suspects entered a residence at 899 Highway 73 South and assaulted a 17-year-old female and an older male who owns the home.
The suspects also used baseball bats and other objects to damage a vehicle at the residence.
Deputies believe this attack was in retaliation for an incident in the Red Granite area Saturday between the teenaged girl and one of the suspects.
Three suspects have been identified. 18-year-old Vitana Lopez is in custody. 30-year-old Gabriel Lopez and 37-year-old Yasmin Lopez are still at large.
The attackers face several felony charges including physical abuse to a child, substantial battery, burglary, and criminal damage to property.
The victims names have not been released, but Wood County deputies say they were both treated and released from the hospital.
Anyone with information about this crime is encouraged to contact Wood County Sheriff’s Department at (715) 421-8754, or your nearest law enforcement agency.
