Rage Against the Machine 's  Tom Morello  is  among the musicians scheduled to perform  this Friday at the second annual benefit concert for  Jail Guitar Doors USA , a charity that seeks to help rehabilitate prisoners by giving them access to musical instruments.  The show is scheduled for this Friday at the John Anson Ford Amphitheatre in Hollywood, California.

The event was curated by  MC5  guitarist  Wayne Kramer , who co-founded the Jail Guitar Doors USA organization in 2009 with British singer  Billy Bragg .  The concert also will feature performances by  Ben Harper , singer/songwriter  Jill Sobule , Jackson Browne , and Los Angeles-based psychedelic-rock group  White Fence , among others. Comic  Dana Gould will emcee the festivities.

The original Jail Guitar Doors charity was launched in 2007 in the U.K. by Bragg in honor of late  Clash  frontman  Joe Strummer .  The organization gets its name from a Clash song Strummer wrote about Kramer's own prison experiences.

The show will take place at the John Anson Ford Amphitheatre in Hollywood, California. Tickets can be purchased at  FordTheatres.org , with prices running from $35 for general admission to $150 for reserved seating.
