Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme sings on a new song featured in the smash video game Red Dead Redemption 2 . The track is a Western ballad called "Cruel, Cruel World," and is streaming now on YouTube .
The Red Dead Redemption 2 soundtrack made news last week when a new song from reclusive R&B artist D'Angelo surfaced in the game.
According to developer and publisher Rockstar Games , the soundtrack also includes country icon Willie Nelson and rapper Nas , plus music by Queens of the Stone Age members Jon Theodore and Michael Shuman . The vocals on the soundtrack were produced by Daniel Lanois , known for his work with Bob Dylan , Neil Young and U2 .
Queens of the Stone Age's most recent album is 2017's Villains .
