A guy named Dan Fell from Warwickshire, England says he's spent the past 18 months trying to figure out how to perfectly recreate the recipe for KFC fried chicken. And . . . he believes he's finally done it.
Yes, he either figured out the 11 herbs and spices . . . or came close enough to them that you can't tell the difference.
He says his recipe is based on a combination of all the recipes online, quote, "tested and adjusted" until his chicken became indistinguishable from the real thing at KFC.
Quote, "[It] gets better each time. I'd say my rate for 'Mate, you really cannot tell the difference' is about four out of the last five times."
