Facebook is going to publish your name for anyone to search...

No, this isn't a big SCARE YOU post, this is real. Facebook will be lifting restrictions in the next few weeks regarding who can search for you. In the past you've been able to restrict that feature, and most people have. Late last year, they took the option away from users who wanted to add it, and now they're taking it from everyone. 

This means that anyone you meet, send a job application too, or are trying to erase from your past, will be able to fire up their laptop, and find you. There will still be restrictions you can add to your past posts, and SOME privacy settings you can use, but there's no timetable for when those will disappear too.
