"Where the River Flows" was Collective Soul's last #1 on the Blue Album (often called that to differentiate it from their second self titled album.) The album also contained "December" and "The World I Know" which also reached #1 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart and both of those songs were also Top 40 hits with "The World I Know" hitting #1 on the Adult Top 40 chart.
This was a huge album for Collective Soul and front man Ed Roland said that this is their official debut album because
Hints Allegations and Things Left Unsaid
was really meant to be a promotional demo. He says comparing the two is like comparing two different bands.
