Great White settles with Jack Russel

by Otto Man

Great White and former lead singer Jack Russell have come to an agreement over usage of the name of the band. While most details of the agreement won't be released, the two sides did announce an end to their pending litigation Wednesday, revealing that after several days of closed-door mediation, it was decided that the current members of Great White will keep the name and Russell's band will be known as Jack Russell's Great White. The settlement marks the end of a legal batter that started in March of 2012, when Russell sued the rest of the band for continuing to perform as Great White after he’d taken a leave of absence from the band for undisclosed medical reasons.
