Rock Fest Preview: Cheap Trick

by Lunchbox

What to expect from Cheap Trick? Well, a bunch of songs you can sing along with...

See, Cheap Trick may not be a band that you can say "oh, that song, and that song, and that song..." You may not even be able to name one outside of the song posted above...but as soon as you hear one of their other hits, you'll start humming.

There's a reason that VH1's 100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock had them at #25. And it's not for the sparkly shirts.

Cheap Trick helped influence a new generation of rock artists...here are some of the artists who have listed Cheap Trick as influential on them: Kurt Cobain, Gene Simmons, Joey Ramone, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Weezer, Foo Fighters, Soundgarden, Green Day, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and even Corey Taylor of Stone Sour & Slipknot .

This is a show that you may not think you want to see, but you have to see.

Based on some of their recent shows, here's a projected set-list for Cheap Trick at Rock Fest:
