LONG ISLAND, NY (WSAU) - Superstorm Sandy cleanup is still going on, and utility crews from Wisconsin are continuing to help.
Most of the electrical crews have returned home, but now Wisconsin Public Service has sent natural gas technicians to New York. They prepared trucks in Wausau Friday and left with Oshkosh crews Saturday morning. They got their first work orders to repair damage on Long Island yesterday. The WPS gas technicians will spend fourteen straight days on the east coast, and then return to Wisconsin.
