OCONTO, WI  (WSAU)  -  A man charged with illegally hunting bear goes to court in Oconto County this morning.  47-year-old John J. Kellogg of Gillett faces four counts of hunting and pursuing bear without a license from alleged violations in 2009 and 2010.  His initial court appearance on these new charges starts at 9:00 a.m.Kellogg is no stranger to game violations, including several bear hunting violations.  He has a long history of hunting violations in Shawano and Oconto counties and in the Merrill area.  Kellogg has also been charged in the past with illegally selling bear tags to undercover agents and possessing illegally killed bear meat and hides.
