WAUPACA, Wis. (WRN) - An arrest has been made in a Waupaca County homicide, and the victim’s name has been released.
The suspect is being held in the Waupaca County jail and was booked on charges of first degree reckless homicide and hiding a corpse. Formal charges have not yet been filed.
The victim is 36 year-old Jamie Koch of Plover. Her body was found in the Waupaca County Town of Harrson Wednesday morning, in a burned out car. Following the discovery of Koch’s body, authorities conducted a search of an apartment on Chestnut Drive in Plover.
The Waupaca County Sheriff’s Department, Plover police and the state Division of Criminal Investigation, continue their investigation in Koch’s death.
