CRANDON, Wis. (WSAU) -- Another person whose job is enforcing the law has been caught breaking the law.
Karen Boodry is a parole officer from Rhinelander. That might change, because Boodry has been charged with shoplifting in Crandon. Security cameras caught Boodry stuffing a lobster in her purse at Schaefer’s Food Mart.
The store’s meat department manager found the empty lobster box, and store security watched the footage until they found their suspect. Boodry’s grandson Donald Kilbury was with her at the time. Both are facing two misdemeanor theft charges. Both have posted a $200 cash bond. New court dates have not been set.
The Wisconsin Department of Corrections may take disciplinary action against Boodry. So far, they have not issued a statement.
