GREEN BAY, Wis. (WSAU-Wheeler News) - The Green Bay Packers will hold its first practice in full-pads today.
Head coach Mike McCarthy says there will be more urgency today than the first two days. McCarthy made some changes on the offensive line, moving right tackle Bryan Bulaga and guard Josh Sitton to protect quarterback Aaron Rodger’s blind side. The move is no surprise, after Rodgers was sacked a league-worst 51 times last season.
Meanwhile, T-J Lang and Marshall Newhouse are adjusting to right tackle, with Don Barclay taking reps at right tackle and center. McCarthy is pleased with what he’s seen from Barclay, saying he has earned the opportunity to compete for a starting position.
