WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) - A convicted sex offender has finished his prison sentence, and is scheduled to be released in the Wausau area.
31-year-old Matthew M. Kohl will be living in transitional housing near the Marathon County Courthouse in Wausau, and he will be wearing an electronic monitor for the next four years. Kohl’s six years behind bars is scheduled to end August 13th.
Kohl was convicted in 2002 for 2nd degree sexual assault of a child, substantial battery, and intimidating the victim with threatened force.
