MADISON, WI (WTAQ) - A Madison man is free after posting $527,000 in bonds on 62 sex-related felony charges.
Dane County prosecutors said 28-year-old Brian Stowe drugged and sexually assaulted seven women – six of them his co-workers in Verona – and he allegedly videotaped or photographed the women while they were unconscious.
Authorities quoted one woman as saying she felt disgusted, embarrassed, and betrayed after detectives showed photos of the victim.
Stowe was arrested at work on May 31st, and he was charged Monday with dozens of counts of sexually assaulting an intoxicated victim, and capturing nude images.
Stowe waived the state’s time limit for a preliminary hearing, and a conference to review the status of his case is set for July 1st.
Stowe posted a half-million-dollar bond soon after his arrest. He posted another $27,000 bond and gave up a British passport after the charges were filed.
