MILWAUKEE, WI (LEARFIELD-WSAU) Zack Greinke will make his first start at Miller Park tonight since the Milwaukee Brewers traded him 10 months ago. Greinke is making just his fourth start of the year for the Los Angeles Dodgers, after he sat out for a month with a broken collarbone suffered in a bench-clearing brawl against San Diego.
Since the injury, Greinke has made one start. The right-hander gave up one run in five-and-a-third innings in a home victory over Washington last week. He says the collarbone feels good – and while it’s not 100-percent, it does not restrict him when he’s throwing. Greinke is 2-and-0 on the year with a one-point-six-two E-R-A.
He went 15-and-0 at Miller Park in his one-and-a-half seasons with the Brewers – and he’ll try to build on that mark this evening.
Milwaukee has lost seven of its last eight home games. Rookie right-hander Hiram Burgos will start for the Crew this evening. Burgos is 1-and-2 with a six-point-five-eight E-R-A. He gave up three runs in five innings in a loss at Pittsburgh last Thursday.
