MERRILL, Wis. (WSAU) -- A Minnesota man was arrested in Merrill early Sunday morning following a high speed chase.
The 37-year-old man was arrested on first offense OWI and speeding after leading police into the Merrill city limits. The man originally passed a deputy on County Highway K doing 78 miles per hour. By the time the officer was able to catch up the man was pushing 94 miles per hour.
The deputy was able to stop the man, and gave him a field sobriety test. He was cited and released to a responsible party.
