WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) - The Wausau School District has picked a bigger location for Monday’s regular school board meeting.
Instead of the Longfellow Administration Center, the board will instead meet at the John Muir Middle School Auditorium starting at 6:00 p.m., immediately after the district’s Policy, Resolution, and Legislation Committee of the Whole meeting at 5:00 p.m.
The special board meeting Thursday drew a crowd of over 500 at the East High Auditorium as the board reverted to previous administrative rules concerning elementary concerts and the material performed in concerts at all grade levels. Board President Michelle Schaeffer predicted Thursday that there may be some additional members of the public that wish to address the board. They have placed an open forum for comments near the end of the meeting.
Along with the previously planned business, the agenda has something that was added Thursday night. The board will set a meeting date to start a performance review of Superintendent Dr. Kathleen Williams.
