Judge issues warrant for road rage suspect

WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) - One of the two people charged in a Wausau road rage incident from last December is now wanted by authorities.

Marathon County Judge Greg Grau issued a bench warrant for 27-year-old Jessica Ratliff of Menominee, Michigan for failing to appear in court Monday. Ratliff’s attorney attended the pre-trial conference, but she did not. Prosecutors also mentioned Ratliff has missed another court date as well. Since they are unsure of Ratliff’s whereabouts, Judge Grau also postponed the the two-day jury trial that was supposed to begin Tuesday.

Ratliff and Nicholas Flanigan were charged with battery and disorderly conduct after allegedly running into another person’s vehicle on Highway 20 last December 4th. The victim pulled into the Wausau Menards parking lot to wait for Police, when Ratliff and Flanigan allegedly entered the Appleton victim’s car and attacked him with car keys. That victim prevented harm by drawing his licensed concealed handgun.
