Dog shot with arrow

TOWN OF ROME, Wis (WSAU)   Last Friday a family's dog was shot by an arrow in Adams County. The animal didn't survive, and the family wants answers. They put a 'Justice for Zoey' page on Facebook, and the case has now received worldwide attention.

45,000 people have 'liked' or 'shared' Zoey's story. Family members say the 18-month-old lab mix was missing for several days, and was eventually found in a pool of blood about 20-feet from a neighbor's tree stand. The arrow went through the dog's neck and shoulder.

Town of Rome police are investigating. They're not sure if this is an accidental shooting by a bow hunter or if it was intentional. They're hoping all the publicity surrounding the case will lead to someone coming forward with more information.
