Oasis to Reissue "Definitely Maybe" May 20; Other Albums to Follow This Year

By all appearances, Noel and Liam Gallagher remain bitterly divided, personally and professionally, in the nearly five years since Noel's departure signaled the end of Oasis .  As recently as last December, Noel told Rolling Stone , “If there is a reunion, I won’t be in it."  Reckon we'll have to settle for a reissue instead.

May 20th will see a re-release of the 1994 Oasis debut, Definitely Maybe .  The deluxe reissue comes in four flavors -- a standard CD, special edition 3-CD set that includes B-sides and rarities, on vinyl with a digital download bundle, and a deluxe box set featuring even more exclusive merchandise.  Similar reissues of (What's The Story?) Morning Glory and Be Here Now will follow later this year.

Also available now via the official Oasis website is a reproduction of the band's original 1993 cassette demo, featuring eight songs.

Prior to the May reissue of Definitely Maybe , you'll be able to score a special Record Store Day 12" LP of the Oasis' debut single, "Supersonic," plus two B-side tracks, "Take Me Away" and "I Will Believe" (Live).  Record Store Day is April 19.
