Favorite Fives- Madame Mayhem

Rock 94.7’s Favorite Fives blog series returns with Madame Mayhem sharing her favorite complete albums. Be sure to check out her list below.

It’s hard to only pick 5 as I love listening to full length albums! But here it goes….

1. Metallica – “…And Justice For All” – No explanation needed, but I love how the transitions between songs tells a seamless story, however the listener wants to interpret it is up to them, but there is no denying the awesomeness of this record!

2. Incubus- “Make Yourself” and B. “Morning View” -One of my favorite bands starting from a very young age. I listen to both albums front to back whenever I need to refocus. It centers me and makes me feel better.

3. Alanis Morissette – “Jagged Little Pill”- Huge influence on me. Practically every song is a hit and you can feel the pure emotion throughout the entire album.

4. Nirvana- “Nevermind”- My mom used to play grunge music in the car when I was a child. I always say Grunge is my baby music. This album truly defines the 90’s grunge scene.

5. Soundgarden – It’s a tough one between A. “Badmotorfinger” and B. “Superunknown” – but though “Superunknown” was probably their most popular album and extremely iconic, “Badmotorfinger” has this energy throughout you can’t dismiss.
