Have you been pronouncing Blink-182 wrong this whole time? Apparently, there's an international debate over the right way to say the "182" part.

It all started when writer and comedian Ian Karmel tweeted Sunday, "The British call Blink-182 'Blink One Eight Two' and I'm not saying that’s WHY they lost the Revolutionary War, but..."

The Late Late Show host and noted British person James Corden then responded by admitting that his home country has indeed been pronouncing Blink's name incorrectly, but added that the American pronunciation, "Blink One Eighty-Two," is "also wrong."

"They technically should be called Blink one hundred and eighty two," Corden wrote. "Don't take some moral high ground here."

Ever the peace-maker, Blink bassist and vocalist Mark Hoppus hopped in to approve all pronunciations.

"Thank you James," he wrote . "Some say one eighty two. Some say one eight two."

Blink-182 recently wrapped their Las Vegas residency. Their next scheduled show is a headlining set at Cincinatti's Bunbury festival in June.
