Wisconsin Rapids Man Pleads "No Contest" to Ex-Wife Husband's Murder

WISCONSIN RAPIDS, WI (WSAU) -- A Wisconsin Rapids man has pled "no contest" to a charge of 1st-degree intentional homicide.

Gary Bohman, aged 59, of Wisconsin Rapids, pleaded no contest on Thursday during his final pre-trial date for 1st-degree intentional homicide in the murder of his ex-wife's husband.

Bohman is accused of shooting 39-year-old Christopher Race inside the Higher Ground Bakery and Cafe on March 24th. Bohman was arrested outside the business after a 911 call. Survellience video showed Bohman shot Race as he worked behind the counter at the bakery. Race's young children were present at the time.

Bohman will be back in court on December 18th for his sentencing hearing.
