AUBURNDALE, WI (WSAU) -- A 16-year-old boy was hit by a car outside Auburndale High School Friday afternoon.
The Wood County Sheriff's office says a 17-year-old student hit a classmate who had jumped onto the hood of his pickup. The student slid off as the driver was pulling out of his parking spot, running the other student over.
The 16-year-old student was transported to a Marshfield Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.
Officials say names of those involved will not be released at this time.
Wood County Sheriff's Deputies, Marshfield Ambulance, and Auburndale First Responders all reported to the scene.
