WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) -- The Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority will be unveiling a new renovation program.

Executive Director of the WHEDA Wyman Winston will be in Wausau on Monday afternoon to announce details of a new renovation mortgage loan. Any costs for a renovation are eligible to be financed through the new mortgage project that is partnered with Fannie May. The mortgages will be offered immediately throughout the state.

The announcement will come from the site of a city rehabilitation project of 1215 Prospect Avenue. Multiple bids have been searched out for the site for several years. The rehabilitation project is currently being worked on by Finnegan Construction Inc, who was awarded the project back in February of this year.

The announcement will come at 2 pm at the Prospect Avenue site.
