VILLAGE OF WESTON, WI (WSAU) -- A slight increase in wages is coming for members of the Everest Metro Police Department.

3 members of the Everest Metropolitan Police Department will be getting a slight increase in wages. Due to the department's contract with the union, Chief Clay Schultz is raising wages by 2% for non-union employees. Non union members including Chief Schultz, Operations Captain Rob Dickerson, and Administrative Captain Dan Heilmann will be getting a 2% raise to match the 2% raise union members will be receiving in 2019.

Administrative Assistant Kristy Isberner is not represented by the union, but is under a wage freeze until 2020 and won't receive the wage increase. The increase in wages is to reflect the slight rise of living costs.
