WASHINGTON, DC (Wisconsin Radio Network) -- Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson is being denied a visa for an upcoming trip to Russia.
Johnson had been scheduled to take a trip to Russia as part of a bipartisan congressional delegation.
The Republican says his opposition to Russian aggression in Georgia and the Crimea region of Ukraine will not change, and that Russian President Vladimir Putin continues to disrespect elections and refuses to bring Russia's economy in line with the rest of the West. He's calling the denial "diplomatic games".
