Grad school, out-of-state tuition going up at UW campuses

MADISON, WI (WSAU)  The University of Wisconsin Board of Regents approved tuition increases at several campuses for graduate and out-of-state students.

Grad school tuition will go up at eight campses: UW-Eau Claire, UW-Green Bay, UW-LaCrosse, UW-Oshkosh, UW-Parkside, UW-Stevens Point, UW-Stout, and UW-Whitewater. The increases are about $200 per semester.

Tuition for out-of-state students will rise at six campuses: UW-Green Bay, UW-LaCrosse, UW-Milwaukee, UW-Parkside, UW-Stevens Point, and UW-Whitewater. The increases are 2.9-percent or less, or about $450 per semester.

In-state tuition will not be increased. It's been frozen since 2013.
