GURNEE, IL (MetroSource-WSAU) It's the news that Kathleen Ryan's family didn't want to get. Police in Illinois confirmed on Thursday that her remains were found inside her burned-out car last week. The 56-year-old’s body was identified through dental records.
Ryan went missing after she was supposed to meet her son at a basketball game in northern Illinois. Ryan was a teacher at St. Augustine Preparatory Academy in Milwaukee.
Investigators are not saying how she died, and they're not saying if they have any suspects in her death. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Lake County Sheriff's Department at 847-377-4159.
