TOWN OF NOKOMIS, WI (WSAU) -- A disoriented 911 call led to the arrest of a Florida man in Oneida County over the weekend.

Officers say Robert H Williams of Panama City, FL faces charges of recklessly endangering safety, aggravated battery, and criminal damage to property after an incident in the Town of Nokomis.

The investigation revealed Williams had stabbed another man with a three-inch blade after the two got into an altercation. That man was identified as 28-year-old Andrew Wickland of Tomahawk.

Sheriff's officials say they received two calls about the incident, one from Williams who said his girlfriend was drunk, he was not from around here, and wanted to go home because several men were coming to fight him. A second call came from Wickland's friend to report the stabbing.

Wickland was taken to a nearby hospital, an update on his condition has not been given. It's unclear if Wickland and Williams knew each other before the incident.
