HUDSON, WI (Wisconsin Radio Network) - It wasn't a bomb. That's the determination about a package found outside a Republican party office in western Wisconsin.

It was definitely suspicious looking, described by Hudson Police as a “military-style ammunition container with several obstructions and wires protruding.”

The St. Paul office of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms responded, after the package was noticed shortly before 9am Tuesday, outside the St. Croix County Republican Party office in downtown Hudson. The scene was cleared shortly after 2:30.
