90s at 9 'Bulls On Parade' Questions Weapons vs. Food

Rage Against The Machine does not agree with the U.S. Military's aggressive tactics.

Rage Against The Machine released "Bulls On Parade" in 1996 off their Evil Empire album.
The song challenges the U.S. military's aggressive tactics. It talks about how the arms industry drives war to get military contracts like in the line, "Weapons, not food, not homes, not shoes, not need, just feed the war cannibal-animal," and "What we don't know keeps the contracts alive and moving."
"Bulls On Parade" reached #11 on the Modern Rock Tracks chart. It was an even bigger hit in other countries across the world.
