I won't be the first person to admit that Spongebob Squarepants played a big role in my childhood. I remember being in 5th grade, getting excited with my best friend for the premier of the first episode to air. It was a unique cartoon that definitely shaped the way I see humor and use my creativity today. A few days ago Spongebob's creator, Stephen Hillenburg, passed away, but his characters and the world he created will still live on through the dedicated fans who also grew up spending time in Bikini Bottom. If not through the series itself, It will through the many memes that Spongebob has created. Here are a few of my favorites!
